Things I’m loving lately

Okay I don’t know about you, but I am a total sucker for product round ups. Whenever I see someone post something like this, I find myself clicking on all the links, adding all the things to my shopping cart. So I figured I’d create a little roundup of my own! Here are some things I’ve been loving this Summer.

Olive & June Nail Polish

Okay I hate to toot my own horn, but I’ve become somewhat of a master at painting my own nails. For years, I was the girl who religiously got a gel manicure every two weeks. I did it for...probably 4 years straight.

Well, during the pandemic, I decided to learn how to do them myself. Olive & June posts these bootcamp classes on their instagram, where they teach you all about how to properly do an at-home mani or pedi. They teach you everything - how to handle the cuticles, how to properly paint on the polish, and how to upkeep your mani so it lasts. And I am dead serious when I say their polish does not chip. It literally doesn’t chip. The only reason I paint my nails every week is because a) they grow very fast and b) I like to switch up the color.

Is it dramatic to say Olive & June polish has changed my life? Perhaps. But for someone who appreciates a good mani - this just really brings me so much joy. You can even use my discount code amandah20 for 20% off your first mani or pedi system!

OPI Drip Dry

Okay on the topic of nail polish, I have to give a shout out to OPI’s Drip Dry. This stuff is straight sorcery. After you finish painting your nails, you apply 1-2 drops on each nail, and the nails just magically dry. Like I’m talking DRY. As in you can go chop an onion, do dishes, play the freaking piano if you please! Best thing ever.

Trader Joe’s Vegan Tzatziki

I don’t know about you, but I am a BIG dipper. I love to dip - chicken, fish, veggies, crackers, fruit, you name it, and I’ll dip it. I can confidently say I have about 4-5 dips on hand in my refrigerator at all times. This one takes the cake.

I loooooove tzatziki. Like, I really love it. But I don’t love dairy so much. My skin gets very unhappy when I eat too much dairy, and for so long I was avoiding my beloved tzatziki for this reason. Well NO MORE, FAM. This vegan tzatziki from Trader Joe’s is next level. It’s super thick, has awesome texture, and tastes just as good as the real thing. It’s on my list every week!

Fabletics Athleisure

This is not a hot take - athleisure is life. I will believe it until the day I die. One of my favorite brands is Fabletics. The softness of some of their fabrics just DOES IT for me. I especially love this seamless bra, this cropped sweatshirt, and these shorts. I kid you not, I wear them every single day. And as a member the prices are SO affordable!

Elta MD Tinted Sunscreen

I’m not proud of it, but I spent the first 25 years of my life being very reckless with my skin. We’re talking so sunscreen, hours in the sun, maybe even some tanning beds in college. I told you...reckless. BUT in my 26th year I vowed to grow up and start taking better care of my skin.

The one thing I’ve always disliked about sunscreen is the white sheen. I loathe the white sheen. This sunscreen is tinted, so we don’t have to worry about the sheen! And I actually love the tint and the coverage - I typically wear this as my “makeup” during the day!

Lululemon fanny pack

I was very skeptical about the fanny pack trend. But I am the first to admit - they are so functional, and I think they’re super cute! This one from Lululemon is only $38, and it looks so cute on! I got it in white an black.

Wildgrain Subscription

A monthly carb subscription...enough said, am I right? Okay on a serious note...Wildgrain is the best bread I’ve ever had. There, I said it.

Here’s how it works: every month, you get a box of goodies delivered to your house. You don’t get to choose what’s in it, which I personally love. Every month there’s a little surprise in there. You typically get 2-3 loaves of sourdough bread, pasta, and some surprise goodies. Last month I got grain-free cookies and croissants and I was in heaven! You can also use the code AMANDAGHEE - the first 50 people to sign up will get $30 off their first box + FREE Brioche Rolls in every box!

Lulu’s Dresses

I’m officially at the wedding stage of life! We’ve had quite a few weddings this past year, and the invites keep coming! I’ve gotten all my outfits at Lulu’s, and I’m not stopping any time soon! They have a pretty large selection, so far everything has been very true to size, good quality, and so affordable. I want to look cute, but I’m not out here ready to drop hundreds of dollars on something I’ll wear once.

I got this jumpsuit, and absolutely loved it. They recently added it in emerald green too (my favorite color!) so I’m just waiting for a winter wedding invite and it’ll be in my shopping cart. Highly recommend this for any weddings or events!

There you have it - all my favorite thangs lately! I share lots of these on my Instagram page too - make sure to follow along! Drop some of your favorites in the comments!
